This guided walk will be an exciting look into one of Manningham's beautiful parks at sunset. This is the perfect time to listen out for raucous birds and see marsupials foraging around bushland areas.

Eight Eastern Metro Melbourne Councils have joined forces to compete against cities from around the world in the annual City Nature Challenge. During the four day observation period from 30 April to 3 May 2021, residents are invited to find, photograph and document the native wildlife that lives and grows in our neighbourhoods.

Working together to find and document nature in our area helps scientists and land managers study and protect these species. By participating in the City Nature Challenge, not only do you learn more about your local nature, but you can also make Melbourne a better place – for you and other species!

To get involved with collecting observations on the walk for the City Nature Challenge, ensure you download the iNaturalist app before arriving. You can download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or just take photos with your phone and log into iNaturalist on a computer.
