Manningham Council will be hosting a range of free nature inspired activities during the upcoming school holidays as part of its Nature Play Autumn School Holiday Program between Wednesday 30 March and Thursday 7 April.

The activities and events will encourage children and parents to experience nature as a place to play, imagine, relax and explore.

Nature play is the term used to describe the creation of simple play opportunities in the natural environment. 

Nature Play Autumn School Holiday Program events and activities include:

Junior Ranger Program
Wednesday 30 March, 9.30 am – 12 noon
Currawong Bush Park, Reynolds Road, Doncaster East
Bookings are essential. Places are limited to 30.

Fun and Games at Plaza Park
Thursday 31 March, 9.00 am – 12 noon
Plaza Park at MC Square, 687 Doncaster Road, Doncaster

Kids’ Garden Dance Plant
Thursday 31 March, 9.00 am – 10.00 am
MC Square Community Garden, behind MC Square, 687 Doncaster Road, Doncaster

Spotlighting Night Walks at Currawong Bush Park
Friday 1 April, 7.00 pm – 8.00 pm, Currawong Bush Park, Reynolds Road, Doncaster East
Suitable for children aged six years and under.
Bookings are essential. Places are limited to 20 children.

Jungle Jam
Sunday 3 April, 11.00 am – 3.00 pm,

Bird watching at Currawong Bush Park
Monday 4 April, 9.30 am – 12 noon
